Next Tuesday, February 11, International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated. In this context, several research institutes and faculties of the University of Barcelona have organized a conference on Women in Scientific Research.

The event will consist of two parts. At 3pm there will have the conference "Quantifying the biases of scientific success", which will be given by Dr. Roberta Sinatra of the University of Copenhagen. At 16.00, there will be a coffee and debate, where Dr. Sinatra will be joined by Dr. Joaquina Álvarez of the CSIC-Institute Jaume Almera, and Dr. Núria Salan, of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
