PUBLIC OBSERVATION OF THE MOON WITH A TELESCOPE’S SESSION AT LA VERNEDA

When? Friday, November 12 at 8 pm

Where? La Palmera square, La Verneda (Barcelona)

WORKSHOP: «3D CONSTELLATIONS AND A VIRTUAL WALK THROUGH THE GALAXI WITH GAIA»

One of the most characteristic constellations of our sky is Orion. In this workshop you will build a model of Orion in three dimensions considering the position and distance among each of its stars. Afterwards you will enjoy a walk through the Milky Way with the help of the Gaia Satellite and discover how Orion appears from different points of view.

When? Monday, November 15 at 6 pm

Where? El Mirador, Mirador square s/n (Castellar del Vallès)

Breu guia d'observació del cel
That's a guide to help us to discover the sky that we could observe from our latitudes through the year. We could recognise the most caracteristic constellations and the most remarkable objects like double stars, stellar clusters, galaxies, etc.  What's more, it contains information about the moon phases and the visibility of the planets.
