25th Science Week is an initiative coordinated by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI). During the Science Week, a series of scientific dissemination activities will take place in parts of our territory. Open days, exhibitions, talks, games, scientific workshops and much more. This year's theme focuses on the Covid-19 pandemic, its global evolution and the research being done on the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
The 25th Science Week will also have other central themes. On the one hand, the UNESCO International Year of Plant Health. And on the other, the centenary of the birth of different personalities referring to the respective fields of knowledge; the philologist Antoni Badia i Margarit; the chemist Enric Casassas y Simó; chemist Rosalind Franklin; the writer and biochemist Isaac Asimov, and the astronomer and meteorologist Eduard Fontserè y Riba.
