The researcher Gemma Busquet (ICCUB-IEEC) visited the 4th grade students of the Antoni Balmanya School in Barcelona to talk about the formation of the Sun and the Solar System in the context of 27th Science Week of the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI).
Dr. Busquet is part of the stellar formation group of the Institute of Cosmos Sciences of the UB and is currently working on the VOLS project (The VLA Orion A Large Survey) to observe the molecular cloud of Orion to study the formation of stars in this region. She has received several recognitions throughout her scientific career, like the 2022 Leonardo Fellowship awarded by the BBVA foundation.
