From the Earth to the Universe exhibition is one of the most important legacies of the International Year of Astronomy. This exhibition shows the Universe through astronomical images of great scientific importance, but in addition to incredible beauty, taken from different observatories around the world, also from Spain.

The International Astronomical Union intends for the exhibition to be installed with contents equal or very similar to the largest possible number of places around the world. The international organization provides the images, facilitates their rights and establishes the criteria of quality and conditions of use, but the production of each specific installation, its financing and the location must be managed locally. From the Earth to the Universe.

The exhibition we present here was curated by Dr. David Galadí-Enríquez of the Astronomical Observatory of Calar Alto (Almeria) and funded by the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Business of the Junta de Andalucía. It was also translated into Galician and travels throughout Andalusia and Galicia. The Catalan version has been funded by the Generalitat de Catalunya and will travel throughout Catalonia.
